As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can enhance self-awareness, reclaim their power, and begin the process of healing. I believe in using a person-centered, strengths-based approach that honors the client’s unique life experiences and individuality.

No matter which intervention I use in session, it is vitally important to me to provide services in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and sex-positive manner. As a social worker, I am committed to anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices. This means creating a safe and welcoming place for members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities where your lived experience will be honored, and your identity will be valued. I promise to continue to show up, learn, and be an advocate.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, where I was a Fellow of the Trauma Education Program and Mental Health Advanced Practice Program. I completed a Post-Graduate Clinical Social Work Fellowship at The Menninger Clinic in 2024. I am a Licensed
Master Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, currently practicing under the supervision of Elizabeth Castrellon, LCSW-S.
